We are thrilled to announce the  Wisconsin Week for the Animals  presented by Animal World USA joyfully kicks off on Saturday, August 13, 2016. The week will conclude Sunday, August 21, 2016.

Throughout the week educational institutions, animal shelters, rescue groups, and humane organizations across the state will be hosting scores of wonderful animal-related special events. Educators, students, businesses and caring citizens across Wisconsin will be joining in, to celebrate and help the animals in communities everywhere. 

Events will include adoption fairs, spay/neuter opportunities, shelter days, R.E.A.D. dog programs in libraries, activities for the farm animals, pet donation drives and therapy dogs visiting hospitals, nursing and assisted-living homes.

Also to be included are a salute to the working K-9 and police dogs, cat initiatives, horse fundraisers, visits at  sanctuaries, veggie events, and fun-filled festival days for families to enjoy food, music and the always amazing animals!
